The Plan
Setting: Room where the murder takes place. Brandon Is sitting in a chair, deep in though, and Phillip is about to walk through the door.
Phillip enters the room.
Phillip: by god Brandon, what are you thinking so hard about?
Brandon: looks up, Why Phillip, so glad you are here. I’ve come up with a plan, a perfect plan, a sure test of our superiority.
Phillip: I am afraid I don’t quite follow you. Phillip walks over and takes a seat across from Brandon.
Brandon: Isn’t it obvious. You remember what Rupert says about murder. How it should be used by the superior beings in this world to rid the land of inferior beings.
Phillip: Why of course; he talks of it often enough.
Brandon: Well I believe that I have come up with the perfect plan to put Rupert’s words into action.
Phillip: Asks warily, Brandon what exactly are you planning?
Brandon: Answers excitedly, Why murder of course!
Phillip: Shouts, Are you out of you mind?
Brandon: Keep your voice down, do you want the whole city to hear you. What I propose is that we commit murder, just for the sake of seeing if we can get away with it. It will be brilliant. I have a plan that is above reproach. Nothing can go wrong! He is absolutely giddy.
Phillip: Brandon, why on earth even try to pull a stunt that dangerous?
Brandon: It is a test, a test I intend to pass. However I need your help. It is crucial to my plan. It will not work unless you contribute to it.
Phillip: His voice barley above a whisper, This is madness.
Brandon: Relax Phillip, I promise you that this is not madness. We will prove to the world that we are the superior beings. After it is all over, we will truly know that we are better than those other insolent men out there. Wouldn’t you like that Phillip? The chance to prove to the world that you are not a coward.
Phillips body tenses up and Brandon gets up to stand in front of him.
Brandon: Are you with me Phillip?
Phillip: In less than a whisper I’m with you.
Brandon: A triumphant smile on his face Excellent. You made the right choice Phillip.
Brandon walks out of the room, leaving Phillip to think over the act he has just committed himself to.
