In a small town the wind howled and the rain battered down. Crystal sang on the gloomy days and tried to cheer everybody up. She was the sunshine of the town. Her best friend left to go find her father in the woods. She hasn’t been back for 3 days so Crystal went out to look for her. The woods had a sense of fright and odd sounds. Crystal saw a wood house in the distance; it was very old and intimidating. Her best friend meant a lot to her so she would give up her life to save her. Crystal walked slowly to the cabin; the rain pounded her skin and the house. She lightly tapped the door with her fist.
“H-Hello? Is anyone there?”
From inside she heard a cranky and grouchy voice. “What do you want, leave or breathe your last breath.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry to bother you sir, I’m just looking for my friend, have you seen a girl with blond hair and with a white dress?” her voice had a strike of terror.
“No, please leave.”
“But I really need-” Crystal was interrupted. The door flippantly opened and something grabbed her. She fainted because he scratched her while he grabbed her. The creature lay her down and let her sleep. He looked at his hands, or claws. Disappointed in himself he wept knowing he was a monster and would never experience love. In the mirror he saw an ugly disgusting creature, a head of an ox and a body of a white tiger.
Crystal awoke in a comfy warm bed. She immediately jumped up and had panic in her eyes.
“WHERE AM I?!” she screamed as loud as she could. The creature slowly walked in. “I’m sorry miss, but thi-this is who I am. I’ve been cursed by a man that hated me. I-I’ve been like this for 5 years. I bullied him as a child; I regret it I really do. On-only if I feel love I can fix this. I need your help p-please don’t be frightened.” He stuttered afraid of what she was going to do next. Her eyes softened. “I will help you but you can’t kidnap me, it’ll be my choice to be here or not.” still in shock she didn't know what to feel. She felt slight hatred but provided understanding for the poor creature. She decided to help him.
They willingly talked and had compassion. She focused on his life and not hers and forgot about her friend. The woman had started to adore him for his kindness. The creature started feeling the same way, his body returned as a buff man, but his head still as an ox. The man did nothing to harm her and loved Crystal. She never knew she’d fall for a monster but she learned not everything is about looks just personality. They loved each other so much, and suddenly after 5 days his head was back. The man was handsome and the woman gasped. They hugged each other tightly; she whispered “I’ll love you, either way.” They both cried and the woman fell to the ground. She departed from the earth and he now realized it was a part of breaking the curse. The man couldn’t bear to live without her, since it was his fault that she was gone, he took his life just to be with her. Love is so powerful, it can fix, it can break, it can change. But no matter what Crystal and the man never stopped loving each other.
