9 --Option one

The shuttering darkness sent a shiver down David's spine.
"Quite dark isn't it? Shall we draw the curtains?" David asked nervously.
"No, it's quite hot outside. The darkness cools the room down," Brandon replied, chuckling. "Philip, offer our guest a coffee or a biscuit."
"As you say sir, David how do you like your coffee?" Philip asked with a grin. As the two left the room, Brandon walked over to the desk on the far side of the room and grabbed a short rope. Slipping the rope into his back pocket, he walked into the kitchen.
"Ah, is the coffee ready yet?" David asked, smiling.
"Quite ready, sir. Shall we go into the living room?" Philip asked with a straight face.
"Yes, let's," David said with a bright smile on his face.

Brandon and Philip made David feel very welcoming to their luxurious apartment. Brandon talked to David about Janet, and Philip sat in the corner of the room playing Beethoven's older symphonies. Brandon let David take the chair overlooking the Chicago skyline. Then, he went in the kitchen. When he returned, he had a martini glass in hand. As David was looking out over the city, Brandon swung the glass over his head and slammed it down onto David's skull.
With horror in his face, Philip asked,"What do we do now, boss?"
"We finish the job," Brandon replied, throwing Philip the rope.
