Blog Assignment #9: Mua-ha-ha-urder

Yesterday we watched Hitchcock's Rope, a movie and story that is unique for several reasons, many of which we discussed. One interesting aspect of Rope is that it begins where most movies and books would climax--the actual murder is a mere footnote in the opening, instead of the entire story leading up to the murder. For your blog today, you have a few choices:

Option #1: Write a scene that might be in a prequel movie to Rope. The main character's names are Brandon (the cocky one), Phillip (the nervous one), Rupert (the guy who figures it all out), David (the dead one, who would be not-so-dead in your scene now), Kenneth (Janet's ex boyfriend), Janet (David's now-girlfirend and Brandon's ex-girlfriend), and Mrs. Wilson (the housekeeper).

Option #2: Write a scene that begins AFTER a main tragedy has already happened.
