To Live Our Best Life - with help from Ralph Waldo Emerson

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment - so strive to be genuine in your thoughts and actions knowing the only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.

Dream and reach for your dreams. Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself. Do what you are afraid to do because what you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.

Remember that once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen for you and that life is a journey, not a destination.

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood so finish each day and be done with it as you have done what you could – some good, some blunders and tomorrow is a new day, a clean slate to begin again serenely – not burdened with the past.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

Choose each day to make the most of yourself.
