Today dogs were proven somewhat more efficient then the average body scanner at the Los Angeles International Airport. After a man was sent through a body scanner with no results whatsoever, a canine plus handler walked down the line of prospective passengers. He stopped and sniffed one of the many bags before alerting his handler to a possible threat. The man's luggage was searched and found to have a homemade bomb hidden within. The man was detained and the dog was, obviously, rewarded for fine work.
