Writing requires some sort of outside stimulus for me to be able to write certain scenes. In my case it tends to be classical music, mostly because that's what I'm experienced in. To me there is not one type of classical music - you've got subgroups for different moods, or in my case, different scenes. Music especially applies when writing either the climax of the story or depressing scenes, since they are especially hard for me to really get into. Therefore classical music is a requirement for a lot of my writing, even if I don't mean it to be.
