"Oh Katie, you'll have so much fun on your blind date," I assured her. Jack wasn't the most thrilling guy but he sure was a sweet heart. I just really wanted them to have a good time, so in this case lying to her wasn't so bad. "Chelsea, what does he look like?" Katie asked. " Well, he has really shiny, brown hair and is super intelligent. He is very kind and has a great sense of humor," I said unassuringly. Jack was my friend and he has been talking about Katie for a LONG time so I wanted to make this Friday night special for him. Because Jack is so nerdy, I decided he needed a wing man to get the job done. I told Katie about his amazing 4.0 grade point average and how he speaks a whopping 7 different languages but she still didnt seem interested! Then I told her that he was a millionaire! She sure seemed to sit up in her seat now! "What have i done?" I asked myself. Before I could even break the truth to her or tell her that I was just kidding, she was on her way to Jack's house! I sat there confused and mad at myself. "Hopefully she likes long haired hippy's who are crazy smart and use jokes from the 60's," I said doubtfully.
